This nightstand was crafted in Italy at the end of the 19th century by Fratelli Levera (Levera Brothers) for one “Pietro Bianchi” of Lago Maggiore, Italy. We know this information due in part to the original invoice adhered to the top of the piece. Fratelli Levera were a highly esteemed furniture company, as sole manufacturers of furniture for the House of Savoy (King of Italy) and their works can still be seen in museums across the world.
We were fortunate enough to get our hands on this royal piece. Perhaps our favorite feature on this nightstand, are these optional wings that you can flip up for more surface space, showcasing a clever design with nickel-plated steel brackets on the underside.Dimensions: 18 1/2”W x 12 7/16”D x 32 3/4”H
(32 1/8”W when wings are activated)
