EUGENE DIETZGEN CAST IRON DRAFTING TABLE DESK

An exceptional example of early American industrialism. The near sculptural property of the base produces clean lines in contrast with the heft of the piece. The desk has a height adjustment of 23”, with the ability to tilt 180 degrees. The table has been restored, with a new quartersawn white oak desk top, measuring 1 3/8” thick. 1 1/2” oak battens on the underside of the desktop will ensure this desk lasts for generations.
